Cry of a Broken Heart

Cry of a Broken Heart
You transformed me into a Monster,
You weaved a trap and with elegance executed espionage,
A meagre mortal, is now a colossal monster,
The way you celebrated my shortcomings,
The way you decorated my inglorious past,

Past that was buried and dead long ago,
I was inflicted by wounds from the grave,
I am left with no desire and crave,

So I ask Universe, what's the Big plan?
Why I was dethrone from a Czar to a beggar?
The wounds shall not heal anytime soon!

I am sure you wanted your freedom,
And you are now set free,
By setting blaze to my small happy nest.

God, I wish to ask, why are you so biased towards the one who inflicts pain,
Or do  you think Men are born immune to emotions?
I heard and life is unfair,
Be it that way!
I just ask why am I made a prisoner to crimes that never happened.

And you walk out of this with your head held high,
Passing the buck,
Making me the scapegoat,

I have paid a heavy price for being honest, true and good!
And what I get to hear you were very 'nice'!
